![]() ![]() He just tried to stay as warm as he could, huddled into his coat. They walked for a while, Jaejoong just matching Yoochun's pace, not really caring where they went, or why. Jaejoong snorted and grabbed Yoochun's arm. They sat there, not talking, for a long time, just looking down at their drinks. He didn't remember what he had dreamt about, but he knew he didn't want to go back to sleep. He could still feel his heart pounding, making his chest hurt and his head feel light. The bartender set his drink in front of him, but Jaejoong didn't care. Jaejoong shrugged, knowing that Yoochun wasn't attacking him, merely suggesting he could leave if he wanted. Yoochun cleared his throat, then said softly, "No one asked you to come." "You remember those good old days when you couldn't sleep, and stayed in the apartment? Yeah, I miss those." Still not looking at him, Jaejoong placed his hands on the bar, secretly relieved it hadn't taken anything more than his voice to bring Yoochun back to earth. Yoochun shook himself, coming back slowly, and reached down to take a sip from his own nearly full glass. He turned away from Yoochun and addressed the bartender instead, ordering a drink. Jaejoong wondered if anyone had tried to hit on him, how they'd taken being completely ignored. He sat down next to him, and Yoochun didn't even blink. And even though he couldn't see them, he knew the way Yoochun's eyes glazed over, here but not here, lost in some far away place where Jaejoong couldn't follow. He was facing away, but Jaejoong would know him anywhere - the way his head leaned down towards the counter, as if his body was still trying to tell him to sleep, the way his hands loosely wrapped around his glass. He found Yoochun in the first bar he checked. But then, who was able to think clearly at two in the morning? He hunched against the wind, hands stuffed in his pockets, wishing he'd had the presence of mind to bring gloves, or a scarf. " Shit," he muttered, reaching over the side of his bed and grabbing his jeans. Until he finally pushed himself up off his pillow and looked over to Yoochun's empty bed. He tried to stay as quiet as he could now that he was awake, hoping that he hadn't disturbed Yoochun's much needed sleep. He wondered if he had woken Yoochun, if the noises he'd made while asleep had disturbed him. Jaejoong woke up slowly, gasping into his pillow, heart pounding painfully in his chest.
